Country: Australia, Yarra Valley
Tasting Notes: Lovely example of Yarra Valley cabernet. It kind of creeps up on you, in a positive way. It’s mid weight at most but it refreshes as it flows; there’s a fine-fingered, latticework of tannin but it’s mostly a wine of momentum and poise. The more I looked at it the more I liked it. It will steer calmly/confidently into the mid term too. Elegance and value.
Varietal: Blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit
Verdot and 1% Malbec
