Country: USA, Washington
Tasting Notes: Bright ruby-red. Musky aromas of dark berries, gunflint, bacon fat, pepper and brown spices. Quite backward and a bit peppery on the palate, not quite delivering the complexity or dimension promised by the nose. In a rather cool, dry style for the vintage, finishing with dusty tannins and good peppery/spicy lift.
Varietal: Blend of 75% Grenache, 13% Syrah, 12% Mourvédre
