Country: Australia, Coonawarra
Tasting Notes: From a classic vintage the palate is fine, elegant and well integrated displaying traditional cabernet characters of cassis, blackberry and plum with choc-mint notes. Barrel fermentation and maturation have contributed mocha and cedar flavors. The wine has a long finish with fine silky tannins.
The wine is bright crimson red with perfumed plum and mulberry fruit accompanied by some cedar oak. The palate is fruit driven and displays plum and berry fruit with chocolate notes and cedar oak flavours from barrel fermentation and maturation. It's medium weight with a long, fine tannin finish. - See more at: http://www.visitvineyards.com/south-australia/south-east-australia/wine/vineyards-wineries/wine-food-travel-book-reviews/tasting-notes-brands-laira-coonawarra-sa#sthash.d3fAroJX.dpuf
