Tasting Notes: A glittering, deep garnet red. The nose opens on subtle blackcurrant notes before giving way to blackberry and mild spice flavours, especially star anise and vanilla. The powerful attack on rich tannins shows nicely extracted fruit while the concentrated mid-palate recalls the aromas found on the nose. The finish expresses the Médoc terroir in delicate touches of blackcurrant which combine perfectly with the refinement of the tannins.

Varietal: Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (39%), Merlot (61%)

Pairing: Grilled rib steak, spciy beef bo bun, 18 months matured Comté cheese.
