Tasting Notes: Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Âne (Récolte du Domaine) is showing very well, opening in the glass with a youthful bouquet of green pear, fresh peach, nutmeg, pastry cream and crushed chalk, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and incisive palate, with a pretty core of fruit, a bright spine of acidity and a long, precise finish. One of the finest renditions of this bottling that I've tasted, it's a tightly wound Meursault that will reward some bottle age.
