Country: France, Pauillac
Tasting Notes: Les Tourelles de Longueville 2013 has a fine ruby red colour. The nose reveals notes of liquorice, spice, and toasted and lightly buttered aromas followed by red fruit. The tannins are mellow, elegant, luscious, delicate and generous. Overall, this is a superb wine with an accessible, fresh and saline style, which can be enjoyed now.
A very fine bottle that can be savoured young, but which will delight lovers of well-rounded wines in a decade's time.
Varietal: Blend of 63% merlot, 30% cabernet-sauvignon, 7% petit verdot
