Tasting Notes: The Santenay Clos de Malte Rouge (Domaine Louis Jadot) is showing well from bottle, bursting with aromas of ripe cherries, berries, raw cocoa and cinnamon, framed by a subtle touch of cedary new oak. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant, with a lavishly textural attack, tangy acids and fine-grained but abundant structuring tannins that assert themselves on the finish.
