Montes alpha merlot

Country: Chile, Colchagua Valley

Tasting Note: Deep ruby-red color with outstanding and powerful notes of ripe red fruit, plums, and cherry juice intermingled with a bit of coffee, sweet spice, and dairy notes. The French oak appears and marries well with the fruity character. Nicely balanced on the palate with well-rounded tannins and very good structure and volume, leading on to a long, lingering finish.

Varietal: 100% Merlot

Pairing: Very recommended with duck breast, lamb or pork chops, pasta with pesto, lamb masala.
