Tasting Notes: A glittering garnet red. The fresh nose offers highly elegant red fruit, especially cherry and redcurrant, before opening up on aromas of mocha and black fruit such as blackberry and bilberry. Soft spice and truffle notes emerge with airing. The smooth attack is full of ripe fruit flavours which gradually evolve from the red to the black fruit already present on the nose. The very elegant tannins are entirely consistent with the character of Saint-Emilion.
