Tasting Notes: Bright ruby with purple edges. Ripe plums, mulberries and black cherries with sweet aromas of aniseed, chocolate and French oak. Concentrated and voluptuous, the palate extends from its rich fruit beginnings through to more savoury notes of cedar and cocoa, along with baked earth and forest floor. Texture builds to a fine chew of rounded, grainy tannins. Layered and complex, this is a wonderful expression of 60 year old vines in their prime.
